HOW TO MEET YOUR BUS AT THE AIRPORT
Groups arriving at the airport have to follow a specific procedure to meet their McCoy Bus.
Have your group collect all their luggage, clear customs if necessary and have your group gather just inside the exterior doors of the arrivals level. Have a designated person from your group find any traffic Commissionaire and provide them with your bus company name (McCoy). The Commissionaire will then have the bus dispatched from the bus compound to your arrival post. Please note: the Commissionaire is not permitted to dispatch the coach from the compound until the entire group is ready to board the bus.
Your driver and bus will be waiting for your group at the commercial curb pick-up area between posts 12 & 16 of the arrivals level. Please ensure your entire group is ready to board the bus.
Gather your entire group and be prepared to board the bus. Go to the taxi dispatch counter in the arrivals area and request your McCoy Bus. The dispatcher will advise you which post you should wait at for your McCoy Bus to arrive.
Look for your McCoy driver at the bottom of the escalator in the baggage claim area. Your driver will direct you to the location of the bus in the bus staging compound.
Travelling by motor coach is 4 times less damaging to the environment than car-mode transportation, 5 times less damaging than rail and 6 times less damaging than air transportation. On average, a motor coach emits 60% less CO2 into the air than a standard mid-sized car, 54% less than a passenger train and 86% less than a commercial airliner. (source: Motor Coach Canada).
